I’m back! It’s been so long since I’ve hopped on here, but it’s that time of year – I’m getting restless for my next vacation! Having something to look forward to, really keeps me motivated, so I’m excited to start planning my next adventure. That being said, this Santorini post is way past due.

Last year I received a ‘Save the Date’ for my first destination wedding in SANTORINI! So we set out to plan the perfect grecian getaway! If you don’t know me, my entire extended family is from Scotland, so this trip was truly a special experience to celebrate love and family. I’m so excited to share with you all my favorite parts of the trip, if not to help someone planning an affordable trip, at least I get to relive it until the next trip! Sit back and get comfy, this is going to be a long post!

Backpacking through Ojai

Go Pro Silver + | Sespe Creek Trail – Ojai, California

On November 7, 2015, we ventured out into the wilderness that is Ojai. By wilderness, I mean mostly desert with a few trees. We had never been backpacking before so this trip was meant for beginners. Now, some people may think we’re crazy for deciding to backpack in November, and I would say that you are totally right!  Continue reading

Discovering Disneyland

Southern California definitely does not have a shortage of theme parks, Disneyland being the most famous of them all. I have been a huge fan of all things Disney for as long as I can remember, but after moving up to Northern California for a few years for school, my inner child was seriously Disney-deprived. On February 8, 2015, we headed back to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Valentine’s Getaway to La Jolla

Go Pro Silver + | Windansea Beach – La Jolla, San diego, CA

For Valentine’s weekend, Daniel surprised me with a trip to La Jolla. All he told me was that we were going on a trip to San Diego and to be ready to go Sunday morning, as I work on Saturdays.

La Jolla is a wealthy seaside community in San Diego, and as you can imagine it is absolutely beautiful. San Diego is one of my favorite places to be, with the breathtaking scenery, relaxed environment and kind residents.  Continue reading

Journey to Tomorrowland

Gopro Silver + | Tomorrowland 2014 mainstage

Here’s a special blog post coming out in time for the Tomorrowland Belgium Ticket Sale! Tickets go on sale, this Saturday, February 7th at 17:00 CET!

We experienced Tomorrowland in 2014 and I want to preface this blog by saying that this was the best weekend of my life. Also, this post will be incredibly lengthy but I want to cover absolutely everything to be as helpful as possible! In 2013, I came across the Official Tomorrowland 2012 Aftermovie and fell in love. I’d never attended a music festival before, but I knew then that I needed to experience the magic. My boyfriend and I saved up and did as much research as we could and in 2014 we purchased our Global Journey tickets in order to ensure tickets to the festival. The Global Journey tickets, are more expensive but they almost guarantee a ticket and are sold ahead of time, whereas, weekend passes or day-of passes sell out in minutes. Continue reading
